Assist in the definition of target samples and ensure the quality requirements are met, as defined by the program. Review business processes associated with loan and non-loan products, including commercial loans, letters of credit, deposit accounts, and derivatives. Review data extracts and reports, as well as periodic package sampling and analyze for process deficiencies within the end to end loan and product lifecycle, across all bank risks including credit, regulatory compliance, operations, market, liquidity, capital adequacy, model, strategic, and reputational risk. Ensure proper utilization of bank policies and line of business procedures. Assist in the collection of documentation and summarize results for the Business Unit. May present findings to line of business partners as requested by the Senior Quality Control Analyst. Assist in the development of corrective action plans for noted trends or deficiencies. May represent the business during internal and external audits/exams. May travel, as required, to perform quality control review of all applicable lines of business and offices.

  • Review end to end process steps for all Commercial Banking products

  • Collect data, compile results, and identify error rate or deficiencies

  • Prepare and communicate monthly summary as to program status

  • Collaborate with business to enhance or implement controls to address deficiencies

  • Contribute to the development of quality control test scripts

  • Contribute to the development of quality control and related procedures



  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Business Experience in Commercial Banking Portfolio Monitoring or Loan Administration, Intern Audit, Risk Management, Quality Assurance or Quality Control

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio

  • Ability to interact successfully and build positive relationships with a variety of business partners across the organization including sales, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, loan administration, legal, compliance, technology and operations, to ensure risks are mitigated and compliance with relevant policies and procedures

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in dynamic environment that demands the ability to manage multiple, and often competing priorities

  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking industry

  • Understand complex business processes, risks and controls in manual and automated environment

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to summarize and present complex information and issues succinctly for the required target audience
