Santander Consumer Loan Operations is seeking a high-energyprofessional to lead Business Support, Partner Outreach, andCommunications. This individual willhave broad responsibility encompassing line of business program management, aswell as partner relationship and communication. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a dynamicenvironment, and able to manage multiple priorities and initiatives through astaff of dedicated professionals. CLO is a growing business segment and this isa ground floor opportunity for right candidate.

Position Summary:

Guides the efforts of project managers, business analysts,and relationship staff in the fulfillment of business objectives andprograms. Directs and executes assignedduties within a Consumer Loan Operations Fulfillment site. Directs plans, organizes, controls, andmonitors the activities of assigned teams to ensure efficient, consistent andtimely processing to maintain appropriate levels of customer service andoperations efficiency while meeting all regulatory requirements.


  • Oversees assigned phases of fulfillment process and providesregular updates on unit performance.

  • Demonstrates a mastery of the centralized loan fulfillmentprocess and call center operations.

  • Works with internal constituents, including Sales, Credit,Product Management, and Compliance to ensure customer needs are met effectivelyand efficiently.

  • Identifies opportunities and develops strategies to improveefficiencies and customer service.

  • Regularly interacts with retail leadership to optimizestrategies and tactics to drive increased business volumes.

  • Influences the development and implementation of operationspolicies and procedures.

  • Recruits, selects, and coaches personnel to meet and exceedbusiness objectives.

  • Identifies, documents, and communicates operational riskexposures and internal control weaknesses. Supports Bank's regulatorycompliance objectives and recommends changes to support prescribedrequirements. Ensures full compliance with the Bank's Information SecurityPolicies and Procedures.

  • Develops, maintains, and reports on key KPI and SLAreporting and operational metrics for day-to-day activities and providesbusiness reporting on all assigned functions.




  • 5- 7 years of experience leading operations in home equity, auto, credit-card loan fulfillment units or multi-unit branches

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience managing first line unit leaders

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent leadership/education combined experience

  • Understands and can translate program management theory to subordinates and partners

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Seasoned presenter, comfortable with audiences of all levels

  • Expert negotiation skills, able to build consensus across diverse mentalities

  • Recent knowledge of bank regulatory environment a plus
