As a member of Santander’s retail banking division you’ll help serve Santander’s retail and small business customers as part of one of the top banks in the United States based on deposits. With principal presence in the northeast U.S., Santander’s retail division offers consumer and lending products to help our customers reach their financial goals. Responsibilities:

Lead the Consumer and Business Banking Product Engineering and Execution team. Responsible for setting and defining the objectives and goals for the Product Execution and Product Performance team, executing and driving the day to day effectiveness of the team, aligning the strategic goals of the team to the business objectives of the Product Management business unit and driving large scale, impactful and measurable business change.

  • Be accountable for key operational KPIs focused on delivering effective end-to-end business performance

  • Develop a process to maintain and oversee a log of causes of inefficiencies and known issues

  • Lead and develop a Product Execution and Process Specialists who will act as subject matter experts in the organizational processes, systems, product set up and procedures

  • Define and execute business strategy to achieve key financial and customer objectives

  • Lead key large scale and complex business related initiatives including where required significant remediation processes

  • Develop and execute oversight of key projects, rigor by which they are reviewed and address barriers to success ensuring effective execution

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of financial services experience in process management, strategy, operations, business delivery

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

  • PMP preferred

  • Strong Excel and Analytical tools

  • Ability to understand system processes and evaluate root cause with Technology Master Preferred

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and provide strategic direction displaying excellent relationship building skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Expert in project and product management

  • Perform in a hands-on operator capacity, as required

  • Possess strong knowledge of product management and financial services industry

  • Strategic thinking skills required

  • Strong financial and business analytical skills
