A Sr. Retail District Executive is responsible for all aspects of a group of retail bank branches, including: 15 - 20 branches located in geographic clusters, typically in the larger urban areas of the Northeast; Retention and growth of cumulative core deposits typically greater than 300MM; Recruiting and hiring qualified branch managers, with the profile to succeed in our system; Overseeing the recruiting and hiring of all branch staff, ensuring the right profile of skills and attitude to perform at a high level in our system; Oversee, monitor and direct the activities sales and service activities of the branches, so as to meet all targets for customer services levels, sales productivity, specific goals and objectives, including branch revenue; Manage, measure and follow up on adherence to customer contact and sales disciplines and expectations; Manage performance of branch managers by monitoring daily the achievement of activity and sales objectives, coaching as needed; Maintaining operational integrity and controls in all branches at all times; Taking a leadership role for the bank in the communities served by the branches in the District.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of retail banking experience and at least 5 years of retail banking management experience with direct oversight of 4 or more branches

  • People management skills

  • Retail banking expertise

  • Superior communication skills

  • Performance management skills
