Description

This role is responsible for interpreting business requirements and leading the design and implementation of admissions risk management credit policies into the risk management decision systems. The individual will be the primary liaison between Risk Management and IT ensure all appropriate inputs and outputs are delivered to/from the risk systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Formally documenting system flows and maintaining change log for regulatory purposes.

  • Monitor performance of risk systems to ensure all agreed upon SLAs are being met.

  • Liaising with IT to ensure all appropriate inputs and outputs to/from the risk systems are executed.

  • Develop and implement appropriate controls to ensure defect free implementation of risk strategies including documentation, review and testing procedures.

  • Lead project development directing and performing quality control for Jr. analyst work.

  • Maintain documentation of all bureau attributes including global definitions and calculations.

  • Interpretation or requirements, designing and implementing rules into the risk systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Equivalent.

  • Between 2 - 5 years’ experience.

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering.

  • Preferred: Masters in quantitative field2-5 years’ experience in designing, testing and implementing credit policies in the Capstone decision engine.

  • Experience in documenting and creating detailed process controls to ensure error free implementations. Applicant must have excellent communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.

  • An ability to create strong detailed process.

  • Ability to present ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to convert business requirements into design flows that maximize the efficiency of the system.

  • Awareness of FCRA, ECOA, Card Act and other relevant regulatory rules.

  • Strongly desirable Technical skills: Prior experience with a risk management decision engine, SAS SQL, MS Excel, MS Power Point and Visio.
