Description

The Consumer Lending Pipeline Specialist will be responsible for monitoring a pipeline of approximately 500 applications at any given time, with an average loan size of $105,000. The primary goal is to improve the percent of conditionally approved applications that book, while minimizing risk. Secondary goal is to improve the turn time of applications as they move through the pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline monitoring and intervention with potential issues, partnering and responding with branch personnel, customers, and various internal and external resources, which include multiple levels of management as needed to expedite resolution

  • Inform customers (and branches) of statuses of individual applications, alerting them to any issues holding up application

  • Track trends and issues to management to develop best practices in improving application turn time

  • Inform Customer (and branch) of the status of individual applications, alerting them to any issues holding up application

  • Intervene on behalf of stalled applications - escalating and resolving the more complicated situations through business partners within Consumer Lending as well as throughout the bank

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma with a preference for College Credits

  • Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience concentrated in a Consumer Lending environment

  • Experience working with of various documents typical to the application process

  • Ability to relate effectively with all levels of team members and managers

  • Dependable, well organized, motivated, able to work under pressure, and able to manage multiple tasks - many with high levels of priority

  • In depth knowledge of Santander's various underwriting and processing policies and workflows

  • Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience concentrated in a Consumer Lending Environment

  • Superior customer service skills while solving complex customer issues
