This is a seasonal - summer opportunity

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to the Commercial Real Estate Executive and his CRE Risk ID and Analytics Manager.

  • Apply understanding of finance, accounting and bank regulatory compliance in support of a variety of projects.

  • Review commercial loan data, and financial data and assist in the monthly preparation of business reports and presentations, suitable for presentation by senior business and risk managers.

  • Research/ analyze commercial loan documentation to assist in the completion of regulatory and compliance projects.

  • Review/ analyze commercial loan closing and servicing workflows and assist in the development of detailed business process maps and procedures.

  • Analyze commercial loan data elements in order to develop summary and trend reporting.

Qualifications

  • Currently Enrolled in an accredited degree program, will be a junior or above next August

  • Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above

  • Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations

  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage in their leadership style

  • Strong technical skills including MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Knowledge of Visio, a plus

  • Crisp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently and effectively with people at all levels

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges

  • Ability to multi-task as required

  • Ability to work independently on special projects
