Description

Responsible for providing customer service to all businesses and Commercial loan customers contacting the Business Call Center.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the processing and resolution of customer service requests including follow-up calls from resolved problems

  • Provides information to assist the department manager in monitoring customer service satisfaction, market issues and operational problems

  • Ensures compliance of all processes, policies and procedures

  • Provides support to commercial customers, team members, branches and other business departments to facilitate maintenance or customer product enhancements or changes

  • Assesses needs and suggests/promotes alternative products and services

  • Maintains documentation to provide audit trails of referrals, advances and payments on AFS loans and any follow-up issues pertaining to the customer

  • Handles inquiries from commercial customers from community banking offices and other internal departments

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, preferably in the banking or financial services call center industry

  • At least 3 years of experience

  • Ability to build a rapport over the phone with customers and manage customer expectations

  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues

  • Ability to resolve multiple inquiries within stringent time deadlines

  • Excellent communications skills

  • PC proficiency; ability to use a wide range of software applications

  • Working knowledge of cash management products
